Sports Breakfast

The Bob Elmer Rotary Sports Breakfast (named in honor of past president Bob Elmer of the Rotary Club of Martinsburg who started the breakfast) will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, 8:00am at the Martinsburg Holiday Inn on Foxcroft Avenue. Admission is $20 and tickets are available at Depot Florist, Dana’s Tuxedo, and Flowers Unlimited in downtown Martinsburg. 

 

Also the young athletes from each of our local high schools will be recognized. These 2020 Athletes of Honor are young men and women who participate in a wide variety of sports including: football, basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, track, cross country, swimming, cheer leading, volleyball, and golf. They are selected not only for their athletic talent, but for their strength of character and contributions to the success of their team, their school, and their communities. The Rotary motto

is “Service Above Self”, and each of these young people are chosen because he

or she serves as a living tribute to that ideal.
