Downtown Martinsburg
One of the most popular traditions of the festival weekend is gathering with family and friends for the Grand Feature Parade! Make plans to join us for a spectacular afternoon event! Bring your comfy seat and blankets and find a great spot to sit along the parade route in downtown Martinsburg to enjoy the Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Grand Feature Parade. Five large divisions lead by high school bands from around the four-state region provide the excitement necessary to keep your feet tapping and hands clapping. One of the highlight’s is seeing Queen Pomona and her Court’s Float.

2025 PARADE ROUTE
The parade will wind its way through the autumn foliage of our beloved Martinsburg.
The new parade route for 2025 created with the public’s enjoyment and safety in mind will be as follows:
-West King Street to Maple Avenue.
-Left onto Maple Avenue to Burke Street.
-Right on Burke Street to Queen Street.
-Right on Queen Street to Main Entrance of Martinsburg High School

With the changing of the parade route, Martin Street will be available to Raleigh Street and will continue to the train station. This makes it easier for the Emergency Crews to route of the Raleigh Street Main Station.

This year’s parade promises to be a memorable one with our festival theme
"From our orchards to your family- An All-American Celebration"!
We can’t wait to see the creativity of the floats, marching units & cars that participate

So whether you like the marching bands, majorettes or dance troupes, fire trucks, floats, antique cars, or just the excitement of it all, this year’s Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Grand Feature Parade promises to be the best yet! Come early and watch as the Bob Baronner Apple Trample 5k winds through the parade route ahead of the parade starting at 10:30am.
