The Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival is proud to partner with the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, the Berkeley County Development Authority, and the Jefferson County Development Authority to launch an exciting new signature event: Handshakes at the Harvest.
Designed to bring together business professionals, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and agricultural advocates from across the region, this premier networking experience celebrates the powerful connection between our local economy and our rich orchard heritage.
Guests will enjoy an inspiring keynote speaker, a dynamic business expo showcasing regional organizations, and a special tribute honoring the orchardists and agricultural leaders whose hard work continues to shape our community and sustain a tradition that spans generations.
Held just before the official start of the festival, Handshakes at the Harvest serves as the perfect kickoff to Apple Harvest season—inviting the business community to rally behind this beloved 47-year tradition. Attendees are encouraged to show their Apple Harvest spirit by wearing the festival's signature colors of red and green as we celebrate the people, partnerships, and industries that help our region thrive.
