Crown Your Little Appleseed

The Baby Appleseed Contest gives the youngest members of our community the chance to compete for the titles of Baby Appleseed — and doubles as a beloved fundraiser for the festival.

Voting is open to the general public through monetary donations on our website: one dollar equals one vote! Vote as many times as you like for your favorite — every dollar supports the festival.

Two age groups

• Tiny Miss and Tiny Mister Appleseed — open to boys and girls ages 1 week to 36 months as of October 15, 2026.
• Little Miss and Little Mister Appleseed — open to boys and girls ages 3 years + 1 day to 5 years old as of October 15, 2026.

What winners receive

• A crown or tiara, trophy, and sash
• A $100 cash prize
• The honor of riding in next year’s Grand Feature Parade

Winners are announced during a special ceremony at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds during festival weekend — time and place announced this summer.
