Invite Queen Pomona to Your Event

Queen Pomona is the ambassador for our festival and is available to make appearances throughout the community! Whether it’s a school classroom, a community event, or another function you are hosting — she can share the history of the festival, read a book to students, or participate in your event.

How to request an appearance

• Include your event date, time, location, and what you’d like the Queen to do
• The festival board will follow up to confirm availability

About our reigning queen

Queen Pomona XLVI, Syrah Armoni Makena George of Martinsburg, was crowned at the 2025 festival. A senior honor student at Martinsburg High School and Senior Class President, Syrah is a National Honor Society Vice President, co-captain of the award-winning Velocity Dance Team, a certified lifeguard, and a 13-year student of Tari Jo’s Dance Studio. From watching the parade in awe of the princesses to serving as a Junior Maiden, the festival has held a special place in her heart for years.

Queen Pomona XLVII and her court will be selected in April and crowned at the Coronation on October 16, 2026.
