The contest is open to boys and
girls between the ages of 1 week and 36 months. This is not a beauty contest.
All proceeds benefit the Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival (MSAHF).
There will be 4 top winners:
Little Mr. Apple Seed and First runner-up
Tiny
Miss Apple Seed and First runner-up
Little Mr. Apple Seed and Tiny Miss Apple
Seed will receive a Crown/Tiara, Trophy, Sash, and $100 Savings Bond and will
ride with their parents in the 2010 MSAHF Parade. Runner-ups will receive a Trophy.
The Apple Board will also be on
display at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds on October 17 during the
MSAHF Arts and Crafts Festival for voting by the general public. The boy and girl
with the most votes will be crowned the 2009 Baby Apple Seed. One cent=one vote.
Example: $1.00=100 votes.
Voting will close at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
The announcement and coronation of the winners will be held
at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2009, at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds.
